Act and Fcst (Actual and Forecast) Sheet

This sheet shows more detail of the actual and plan figures.  The list of categories are shown in grey on the left in column B.  The blue categories are sub-totals of the major categories defined in the ‘Major Categories’ sheet.  Click on any one of these grey or blue categories and the graph in the top left will revise to show you the actual and plan figures by month.

Next to the category list is actual and plan data for the latest month and the year to date. You can see the variances for these periods (+ve variances show expenses higher than plan, -ve figures represent expenses lower than plan).

To the right of this data are links to the detailed transactions for any particular account (Minor Category).  Click on any of these links and you will be taken to the ‘Transaction’ sheet.

Finally, at the top right of this sheet you can see a quick view of your largest expense major categories.
